We have stayed with you and your family in the summer,
but this year we decided to come up in winter for the skiing. What
a great idea it turned out to be! Without a doubt there is no more
picturesque place anywhere on earth…at any time of year. Seeing train
with Christmas lights is a first! Staying with you we got the best
of Sun Peaks and Kamloops. The skiing by the way was fabulous. The
snow is the best we've experienced anywhere in the world. We
sure miss your hot tub and huge living room fireplace. My husband
wants to get a treadmill like the one you have in your cardio room.
As much as he loved your workout facilities, I have to tell you that
he is in love with the bed we slept in…me included. We have stayed
in each of your suites and love them both. Say hello to your children
for us.

This was only the 3rd time we stayed
in a Bed and Breakfast. We are converts! You guys have an amazing
piece of waterfront real estate. Our kids loved playing with your
kids. We can't get over the beauty of the Thompson River...it is like
a slow moving calm lake...and it is as smooth as glass. We have never
in all our years seen or gone boating on a waterway as beautiful as
your piece of paradise. We loved our boat tour when you took
us down river to Kamloops Lake. It is such a beautiful lake
surrounded by those majestic desert mountains. We must also
say that we absolutely fell in love with both the Shuswap Lakes which
you took us to on the 2nd day when we went boating up river.
The lakes are so lush and green! We didn't know if we could
believe it when you said there were 1000 miles of beaches...but it
seems you were right!. Your breakfasts were a knock out too. Thanks
for all the help setting up our tours and showing us where to go.
We are sending you a picture of Susan and me with the 5 pound rainbow
Scott caught at Stump Lake. The guide you referred us to was fabulous.

Our spring stay with you was a present
for our 35th wedding anniversary from our son and daughter whom you
both know well. Thank you for making our stay so special. We truly
loved and appreciated the setting of your home. We have never stayed
in a mansion like yours before. We enjoyed our breakfasts so
much that we felt bad not being able to eat it all. We are not as
young as we used to be, but they were delicious. Gerald, you sure
love to cook! Wolfgang still cannot get over the hundreds of lakes
and rivers within just an hour or so of Kamloops. Although we did
not do any fishing ourselves, we sure enjoyed seeing all the trout
you and your wife caught while we watched. We have nothing like
that in all of Europe. We hope that Werner, Deanna and our grandchildren
can experience that next year when they come to stay with you.

My wife and I always frequent B&B's
and we must say that yours is so refreshingly different. Your waterfront
setting is spectacular and you have a magnificent waterfront home
with all the amenities of a luxury hotel. In fact, your home is among
the most beautiful we have seen anywhere: the granite, the oak hardwoods,
the maple cabinetry, the art, the wrought iron staircases. Simply
luxurious. After all that scrumptious food we got lots of use
with your indoor gymnasium & cardio facilities…not to mention
the swimming pool and hot tub. We especially loved your company. You
always took the time to make us feel special. You have a wonderful
piece of heaven. We will tell all our friends and show them the pictures
we took.

Your breakfasts were huge and delicious!
Absolutely fabulous home (or should we say "mansion")! We
loved taking in the sunsets and then having bonfires each evening
at your pool side fire pit. You and Rachael are terrific hosts…and
your children are lovely! You are without a doubt blessed with the
most beautiful scenery in the world. We will always come back when
visiting Canada.

We like to do a lot of outdoor stuff
when we vacation. The golf course at Rivershore was tremendous; one
of the best we have ever played on; and we have played at some of
the finest courses in the world. The fact it is perched along side
that wonderful mirror like river made the experience more memorable.
We also enjoyed playing the Dunes. Jenny could not believe the
jet skiing and other water sports either. When our friends told us
that Kamloops had this amazing river that flowed into not 1 but 3
beautiful lakes within an hour of your dock…plus the fact that there
were sand beaches just down from your dock...and that there was boating,
jet skiing and tubing all right there at your home...we did not believe
them because we never heard of a river having all that. We are now
convinced! Instead of going to Kelowna we are coming up to stay with
you in Kamloops when we visit the interior of BC. We can't believe
you have so much stuff to do so close to where you live. It is incredible.
The next thing we have to do is come and stay with you during the
ski season. Your food and your hospitality were amazing. By the way,
thank you for the evening you took us by boat to the restaurant in
Kamloops via your boat. It was terrific! What a lifestyle you have!
