Reservations made more than 6 months away
from your arrival date require an advance deposit by credit card
equal for 1 night's stay. To hold reservations within 4 months
of your arrival date (120 days) require a deposit of 50% in order
to hold your accommodations. The balance of your stay, less incidentals,
must be paid on or before the date of arrival.
Our cancellation policy term is 30 days prior to any booked date.
Refunds will be made for cancellations prior to the above policy
period. A $25 CDN processing fee per room and night is charged
for any cancellation. In high season, special holidays and weekends
a 2 night minimum stay applies. A cancellation will result in
the charge of 50% of your total or 2 nights of your reservation
(whichever is greater). No refunds will be made should you decided
to shorten your stay after arrival.
Cancellations are permitted provided that notice is in writing
by either fax or email. If made by email, you must follow up with
a phone call and we will email you back a confirmation of cancellation.
If a cancellation is received less than 30 days before the date
of your arrival, the deposit is forfeited. However, if another
guest rents the suite during the days or weeks that you have cancelled,
you will be reimbursed from your deposit for the rented days of
said guest, less a $25 per day administration charge.
All quoted rates are subject to applicable taxes.
Weekly reservations - we take a 50% deposit to
secure your reservation. The balance will be charged 2 weeks prior
to arrival and is non refundable.
Monthly reservations - we take a 50% deposit
at time of booking; the balance will be charged 2 months prior
to arrival and is non refundable.
We recommend taking a travel insurance package for longer stays.
Please see your local travel agent, or AAA (American Automobile
Association) or CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) office,
or credit card issuer for details. They will normally carry travel
insurance policies you can take advantage of.
Upon Arrival:
When you arrive Rachael or Gerald will take you for a tour of
the property. We will help you with your luggage and help you
carry it to your rooms. A welcome tray of fresh baked cookies
and punch provided free upon arrival and will be made available
in your room once you are unpacked. We will provide you with a
list of attractions and activities in the area so you can get
a feel for all the things you might like to do while staying with
us. We provide a map package to you that outlines where everything
is.
We also have a collection of menus from local restaurants + directions
to them for you to look at. Note that we will provide directions
to all the major local attractions and areas. Breakfast in Bed
service is also provided for 2 adults per suite. Additional room
charges exist for additional persons. Gourmet blends of coffee
& Herbal teas are provided FREE in your room. Our specialty
is different coffees and herb teas. For an extra fee we will make
up a picnic basket; there are 2 to choose from. We offer a variety
of games, cards, books, magazines, DVD's and videos. You may purchase
bathroom articles and sundries on premises. We have hair dryers,
make up mirrors, curling irons, ironing board and iron available
for guest use. Local internet news sheets with daily headlines,
weather, provided daily. We also provide you with coupons and
special deals from local restaurants and amenities. A list of
churches in area along with worship times and services is also
provided. We have chess, checkers, crib or cards. Be sure to ask
if you need anything.
Payment methods
Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover online
through PayPal & on site. Although a major credit card must
be used as a deposit, guest's may pay their final bill balance
with Cash or American Express or Visa Traveller's Cheques on check
out. Be sure to let us know in advance if you wish to use traveller's
cheques.
Policies
All guests need to provide 2 pieces of proper identification which
should include at least 1 of the following: a valid passport or
valid driver's license; each with photo. All guests must provide
a valid credit card for incidentals. Reservations may be made

- Rates are based on double occupancy & are
subject to 7% GST and 10% Provincial Room Tax.
- Any dietary requirements should be advised
at time of booking.
- Full gourmet breakfasts will be served in the
dining room of the main residence. Breakfast trays are also
available if you wish to dine in your suite, provided we have
notice before 6pm the previous day.
- Hair dryer, curling iron, hot rollers available.
- Check in time 4pm - 6pm, or as pre-arranged.
No check in before 2pm to allow cleaning of suites from outgoing
guests. Luggage drop off is available.
- Check out time is 11am unless pre-arranged.
No check outs after 12.30 noon to allow for cleaning of suites
for incoming guests. Luggage storage is available.
- Strict "No Smoking Policy" is strictly
enforced in the suites and in the main house. An outdoor area
located just outside each suite is available for those wishing
to smoke.
- No visitors without permission. All guests
must register in advance of arrival.
- We do not accommodate guest pets.
- We do allow children with advance permission
only.
- Children under age 18 must be supervised by
an adult on the property at all times. We are a waterfront
property and have a swimming pool and hot tub. There is
no lifeguard on duty..

Passports and Visas:
Citizens or permanent residents of the Unites States do not require
passports or visas but proper identification is needed when coming
into Canada. If you do not have a passport, acceptable identification
includes a birth certificate, proof of citizenship and voter's
certificate. Children under 18 accompanied by an adult must bring
written permission of a parent or guardian to travel in Canada.
If you are a citizen of another country and a resident in the
United States, you must bring your Alien Registration Receipt
Card. Because rules and regulations are always changing be sure
to check with the Canadian customs office. For more information,
